Hyasinta is a senior lecturer at CUHAS. She is doing consultancy services, mentoring students, teaching and doing research. In collaboration with other Hospital and Universities in the world, she has published more than 45 articles. She has passion for gastrointestinal infectious diseases and gastrointestinal malignancies; she actively does Gastroenterology researches and practices at Bugando Teaching Hospital-Mwanza.
Dr Jaka has 12yrs of experience with gastrointestinal research and she has contributed in different book writing and she is the member of South Africa Gastroenterology Society, Tanzania Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Association.
Dr Jaka holds Ph.D in Gastroenterology and Mmed in Internal Medicine from CUHAS, MHPE from Maastricht and MD From Hubert Kairuki Memorial University-Dar es Salaam.
