Vision
To be a Study Group that will serve as advisory body in Africa on research in the area of H. pylori.

Mission Statement
The AHMSG is a multidisciplinary group comprising at least one representative from eight African countries. Its mission is to advance Helicobacter pylori research, determine accurate prevalence and treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection and associated complications in the African continent.
