Dr. Alboraie is a graduate of Al-Azhar University in Cairo in 2002. Dr. Alboraie has got his master’s degree in internal medicine and gastroenterology in 2006, membership of the royal college of physicians of London (UK) in 2014, doctoral degree in internal medicine and gastroenterology from Al-Azhar university in 2015 and European Specialty Certificate in Gastroenterology and Hepatology (ESEGH) in 2016. Dr. Alboraie has been trained on basic and advanced endoscopy at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Magdeburg University in Germany and in Haya Al-Habeeb Gastroenterology Center in Kuwait. Dr. Alboraie is currently working as a Lecturer of hepatology, gastroenterology and endoscopy at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, is the Executive Director of Presidential initiative for treating one million African hepatitis C patients, secretary general of the Egyptian Association for Research and Training in Hepato-Gastroenterology (EARTH), executive secretary of Egyptian Society of Crohn’s and Colitis (ESCCO), Secretary General of the African Helicobacter and Microbiota Study initiative (AHMSI) and is the representative of EARTH at United European Gastroenterology (UEG) meeting of members and national society forum. Alboraie is also a member many international societies including World endoscopy organization (WEO), WEO emerging stars, American Gastroenterology Association (AGA), American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL), Asia Pacific Association for The study of the Liver (APASL), European Crohn’s and Colitis Organization (ECCO) and is a founding member of European Society for Study of Coeliac Disease (ESSCD).
